In a series of stunning events Sunder Imperial forces captured the notorious bounty hunter known as IG-88. General Lanisius led the team into the secret compound built by IG-88 where they were opposed by ray shielded droidekas and giant, flame throwing security droids. After dispatching the robotic creations, IG-88 appeared and attacked with a vengeance. Sunder medics were put to the test and succeeded in keeping the group alive. IG-88 was eventually subdued, shutdown, and summarily dismantled. The 'head' of IG-88 is said to have mysterious technological powers, the head will be shipped to an undisclosed location on Lok where it will be dissected by designated Sunder scientists. Results of the research will be made available after the Imperial High Command has first look at the technical information.
A brief historical perspective on IG-88: It was an assassin droid line designed by Holowan Laboratories. The IG-88 line was a derivative of the IG-100 MagnaGuard droids used as bodyguards by General Grievous and the IG Lancer Droids used by Durge during the Clone Wars. IG-88 later became one of the galaxy's most infamous bounty hunters. However, the bounty hunting was just a cover for the droid's grand plan—the Droid Revolution.
